From: Rusty (Fe2O3)Haddock <Haddock%ti-csl.csnet@csnet-relay.arpa> Greetings, A friend of mine has moved from Dallas to the San Francisco area. Being a train buff he is rather disappointed in the little variety of lines running in that area (as opposed to 5 or 6 in the D/FW area) and would like to meet some people with similar interests around the Bay area. He's heavy into 'O' gauge models and trains in general. He's also into "railfanning" and would like some recommendations about where to go and not get arrested. Unfortunately him new employer has no network link to the rest of the "real world" (at least to which he has access) so this BBoard doesn't get to him. He'd really appreciate some contact with some fellow railroad fans if just to tell him of some good shops to purchase models and accessories. Anyone interested can call him at his work number below. Paul Michaelis (mick-kay-lis) (415) 966-2147 P.S. If you'd care to send him some net mail you can address it to me and I'll forward it to him. P.P.S. Paul has a very large collection of slides that he's taken through the years. The slides are from all over the U.S. with a heavy dose from northeastern and Texas railroads. -------
