From: Ed Mertes <mertes@Almsa-2.arpa> TVRM of Chattanooga announces its fall Steam excursions: October 12,13 and 19,20 Four one day trips to Crossville, Tn with either 611 or 4501 $45.50 per person (under 5 free without seat) Special packages available to go from Crossville on Saturday and return on Sunday with hotel in Chattanooga included. In the past the Steam was taken off in Emory Gap and diesel was used into Crossville. They told me this was because of weight problems on the bridges. The brochure does not say its steam all the way but it doesn't mention the diesels either. You may want to ask them about this if it is important to you.
