[comp.sys.ibm.ps2.hardware] Comparison of PS/2 55SX, 65SX, and others wanted

allen@muvms3.bitnet (08/31/90)

IBM is running a special on a bundle of their PS/2 Model 8555 called
an 8555-T61 which is a PS/2 Model 55SX with 2MB, 60MB drive and 8515
color monitor.

Early reviews of the 55SX seemed bad as I recall. I was wanting to
get some feedback from anyone using a 55SX and perhaps some compari-
sons of 55SXs with 65SXs and any other non-PS/2 SX based machines
particularly the AT&T 6386SX and the DEC/TANDY DECstation 316sx.

How special? Could you send me e-mail?

The 65sx should be the same speed, only in a tower configuration and with
more slots. Maybe a SCSI controller thrown in....
