[comp.sys.ibm.ps2.hardware] Floppy Drive Change line

I'm having problems on a PS/2 model 70. DOS does not always
recognize when a floppy has been exchanged (drive A: 1.44MB)
and control/C is sometimes needed to properly read replaced
disk.

Does the PS/2 not monitor the drive change line or is my unit
defective?

Thanks

Check the cable from your drive adapter card to the drive and make
sure it is firmly connected. Even a slight bit of play in the
connection can cause this problem.
