I have been looking into acquiring the AOX option board from AOX inc. This option board is a 386DX that will upgrade the following models: 50, 50Z, 55sx, 65sx to a full 386. It plugs into an expansion slot and uses intelligent bus mastering. It will even offload some work to the 'native' processor. The board is available in 20, 25 and 33 mhz clock speeds.
