[comp.sys.ibm.ps2.hardware] Adding hard drive to PS/2 Model 50

Clarification of a couple of points:
> $389.00 Seagate ST-1096N 84MB 20ms SCSI hard disk, 5.25" disk with
> Disk Manager
The hard drive is of course 3 1/2"; but the shipment also includes a
5 1/4" diskETTE which contains Disk Manager (a software package for
formatting, partitioning etc. the hard disk). Hopefully you all have some
method for getting data from 5 1/4" diskettes into your PS/2's; the
program is not copy protected, so that is not a problem.
>and $249.00 Future Domain MCS350 Microchannel SCSI controller, 50-pin
> ribbon cable, 4-pin power cable, 3.25" disk with hardware
> driver software
Again, I refer to a diskETTE which came with the shipment--this one is 3 1/2"
and contains a hardware driver necessary to configure the system.
To be exact, I am not sure how the diskettes, cables, etc are bundled with
the drive and controller. The invoice only listed the two main items, and I
don't know what you get if you only order one or the other.
As for chronology, I called PF Solutions and told them about the modifications, but sent the details via snail-mail and they should have them by the beginning of next week at the latest.
