Hi, I posting this in hopes someone can help with an unexplained memory problem I'm having on my Model 80 Workstation, attached to a Novell Network. I am unable to satisfy myself that a 4 MB memory expansion is operating. I have not been able to get it to work with Novell and Windows 3, even though I applied the fixes and other instructions that came with the kit. I always get an error upon running Windows about the Novell IPX version being wrong. This involved the 3077 option with 2 MB and the 5213 with 2 more MB. I think I followed the instructions correctly. I tried several possibilites and discovered different results when booting off the harddrive or a floppy. The memory check never noticed the memory when booting off the harddrive. If I included the DOSMEMDD.SYS device when booting off the harddrive the memory check worked. Still Windows failed to come up right. Is there anyone running IBM who has run into this? Steve Stephen M.
