As I currently have a sick IBM Model 8513 monitor (see list) I may need a replacement. Since I can get a relatively good price on an IBM Model 8515 through Queen's University ($710 CDN) I may be considering this monitor. Any comments or experiences? Any suggestions for other monitors? The new monitor would probably go on an IBM PS/2 50Z and will run plain vanilla VGA. I am thinking of the future interms of a replacement (XGA?). Thanx in advance for your suggestions. [] I would like to know how the IBM 8515 compares with the NEC 3D and the Sony /Seiko trinitron. Which one is sharper ? Which one is best on the eyes ? (It will be used mostly for VGA, not 1024x768). Also, IBM claims that the 8515 has Very Low Magnetic Emission (or something similar, I don't recall exactly), conforming to Swedish standard. Is this correct, and is it indeed something to care about ? Thanx. -------------------------------------------------- Sergiu Hart E-MAIL: hart@husc9.harvard.edu PHONE: (617) 495-8823 FAX: (617) 495-7730 --------------------------------------------------
