Hello everybody I have purchased a SCSI drive from Plus Development (105 megs) and I cannot for the life of me get it to work in my IBM PS/2 Model 50Z. I have the IBM SCSI card (the one for under $500) but there does not seem to be a fifty pin connector on the card (there is on the drive). There is the slot on the top of the card (which I do not know what it is for) and the external port which is of an unusual size. The drive is the size of a 31/2 disk drive, and can fit in the extra bay, but I'm having trouble getting it to lock down. PLUS! The drive needs power, and the Model 50Z doesn't have any wires! No power outlets! What is a fellow about to run out of disk space to do? Am I desperate? Yes I am! I have hacked my way through books, manuals, hell, I even tried to call IBM. No go. I've seen people post hard drive problems before, is this an easy one? Thanks a lot for any help you can give. Ron Olson olsonr@kramden.nyu.edu "Give me slack, or kill me!"
