I'm trying to add 2 Meg of memory to a PS/2 Model 80, which will bring it to a total of 4 Megs. Inside the machine there is a pair of cards on a bus that appears to be a memory-card-only bus; that is, it is not the I/O bus. I'm assuming that each of these cards contains a meg of memory. I was wondering: 1. Who is a good supplier to buy this unusual memory from? 2. Should I add memory to the I/O bus, or remove one of the existing memory cards and put in a larger one? 3. Can the two memory cards be of unequal size, that is, one 1-Meg card and one 3-Meg card? I'd especially like to hear from anyone who has done this already that can advise me of potential problems :-) If I've misunderstood the situation here, I'd like to be set straight. Thank you for your help. Dave Doerschuk doerschu@rex.cs.tulane.edu
