[comp.os.os2.programmer] DBCS support for OS2 programs

jih@ox.com (John Hritz) (11/27/90)

I am working on a project that has a requirement for Double
Byte Character(DBCS). This is a Presentation Manager program. I have
looked over the API calls that are available such as WinStringCompare and the
PrevChar/NextChar functions. These use the CodePage and Country Code to
perform their functions. I am looking for input on the least painful way to
incorporate DBCS support into this software. I have considered shelling the
string function calls in the runtime, for example strrchr, but this may be
the wrong way to go about it. Any discussion on this subject would be
appreciated.
