The company I work for is currently developing a OS/2 PM application.
It will probably be ready in early 3rd quarter 1991.
We have been putting off getting a developer version of OS/2 2.0 since we read
previously that it would be out by early 1991. To my untrained eyes and ears
that doesn't seem too likely, what with IBM just announcing 1.3.
My questions are to those of you who already have the beta 2.0:
1) How stable is the current version? Does it crash often?
2) Does it have any of the enhancements listed in 1.3?
3) How well does it work with MS C 6.0 and Programmer's Workbench?
4) How much does it cost?
5) How soon would you estimate until it is available as a final product?
6) Would you recommend getting it now, or waiting for the final release?
