When will the Zortech compiler have reentrant libraries? The version we have, with library source, does not have this, and it's a bit of work to add it. We're putting up with MS C 6.0 and Codeview. Does the Zortech debugger provide any advantage over Codeview? Can it debug multiple threads, suspending threads as necessary for debugging? Personally, I think that Microsoft/IBM should supply a large model C library as a DDL with the OS, since most applications are written in C and this will promote code sharing. I spoke with the Zortech folks about this at the Software Development '91 conference a couple months ago. They ackowledged the problem, and thought that making all the libraries re-entrant was a good thing to do, but given the market for OS/2 products it was not high on their priority list.
