[comp.os.os2.programmer] Cannot start X.25

wolf@grasp1.univ-lyon1.fr (Christophe Wolfhugel) (04/20/91)

I configured OS/2 1.2 EE in order that the Communications Manager automatical-
ly starts X.25 at load time and systematically get an ACS0977W error message
("The X.25 API could not be started because either no X.25 adapters were
found or the X.25 adapters could not be successfully initialized").

One thing I'm sure: the adapter exists and is installed...
The config.sys contains device=e:\cmlib\icaricio.sys, and the icaaim.com is
in the same directory (even when it's not there it doesn't change anything).
When I boot up the station without even the device=e:\cmlib\icaricio.sys I get
exactely the same error.

I had to install, by hand as OS/2 installation didn't do it, the drivers,
libraries, DLLs in e:\cmlib\ and e:\cmlib\dll (I have OS/2 on C: and
the extended stuff on E:).

Please respond by email, I'll summarize for the net.
