[comp.os.os2.programmer] Tools available?

brett@otc.otca.oz.au (Brett McDowall) (06/14/91)

I have been involved in Windows 3.0 and Unix systems and am looking at OS/2 in relation to some projects which may come off.

The specific questions relate to tools available under OS/2 for end-user creation of screens. It would then be ideal to generate C or C++ code to build the real application. The real work would be done in C++.

Are there any such tools or anything close? Does anyone know specifics about soon to be released products which may help? Also, what about any plans by Borland to move their products to OS/2? Their ObjectVision could be a valid solution.

Any general comments on OS/2 tools would be appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance.

You might check out CASE:PM from caseworks. It has an interactive screen
designer and you can get versions to generate either C or C++ code.
