Hmmm.... so now you all know the kind of exhortations your friendly
list owner makes from time to time :-)

Explainations:

I always get informed when someone new subscribes to BIO+NAUT, and
I make up a batch file to send some simple instructions to new
subscribers. This time it looks like a receiver inadvertantly
posted the whole thing back to BIO+NAUT. Well it is not such a bad
mistake since it serves as a reminder that BIO+NAUT is interested
in collecting information about biologists who are on the network.

There are various reasons why it is good that people enter some
   info about themselves into BIO+NAUT.

             a) A real name and address takes the anonimity out of
                a network address like biemont@biomac.univ-lyon1.fr
             b) Other research workers get to know your research
                interests.
             c) Your entry can be searched at a later date when
people want to get in contact with someone in
                Hong Kong or Lyon.

P.S. If you have not already filled in you "electronic resume" then
now would be a good time to do it. Details were kindly provided by
