[mail.uk-sendmail-workers] Problem with configuring domains

We have a problem with configuring the domain information for sendmail.   We
can send mail to, e.g.

      AC.SHEF.IBM
and
      IBM.SHEF.AC.UK

but we can't send it to

      UK.AC.SHEF.IBM

Our local.dom file only contains the following two lines -- maybe that's the
problem  -- but it is based on the example file which came with the package.
It works if we put

uk        uk

in top.dom, but this file is generated from DERFIL2 so I wouldn't expect  us
to have to modify this.
