Hi, This has certainly been discussed before, So I'am sorry but here it goes. I'am looking for a simulator. I need something at the switch-level or function level. This software should preferably run on a Macintosh II under A/UX (or Mac OS) or a Sun3. Initially I would prefer something free to gain experience but commercial packages are not ruled out. I work for a non-commercial goverment research establishment in Canada. We are about to get the Electric(tm) Design System from Electric Editor Inc.. In the product description, references are made to simulators with which Electric(tm) can be interfaced. The packages are: Berkeley spice MIT esim, rsim, rnl C-MU cosmos, mossim Stanford mars Here are my questions: Q1- What other packages (not necessarily integrated to Electric(tm)) are available ? I have heard of LSIM, but could not reach it's author. Q2- Where can I get more info on these packages ? Q3- How well integrated to Electric (tm) are they ? Q4- Are they available in source or binary format ? Q5- Who to contact and how to get a license if necessary ? I would prefer a phone number or a network address as I am in a hurry. Q6- Any of these packages freely available over the net ? I have ftp access. Thanks in advance, Louis Demers Defence Research Establishment, Valcartier.
