Can anyone tell me what the *.flt files are in the ISCAS '89 test
generation benchmark data distribution?

Can anyone tell me what the *.flt files are in the ISCAS '89 test
generation benchmark data distribution?

I can not obtain a copy of the proceedings. Would some kind soul send
me a copy of the paper that discusses the benchmark data?

The .flt files contain a simplistically reduced fault list for the
corresponding .bench files. The format is:

node1 /0 /1

where the /0 and /1 indicate stuck-at-zero and stuck-at-one faults on node
"node1", respectively. A node name of the form "node1->node2" indicates
the fanout branch between nodes "node1" and "node2". The exception is when
"node2" is replaced with "PRIMARY_OUTPUT". In this case, a fanout branch from
"node1" to a primary output or a flip-flop (scan-mode primary output) is
indicated.

I'll see what I can do. Normally, requests for the benchmarks are accompanied
by a copy of the paper. Anyone needing the benchmark data can send a request
via email to benchmarks@mcnc.org or they are available via anonymous ftp from
mcnc.mcnc.org. There is a README file in directory pub/benchmark/ISCAS89.

I was not aware of ISCAS-89 benchmark circuits.
Are these combinational circuits or sequential
circuits or both ?

In case I want to aquire the benchmarks what
node should I log in to ? userid ? password ?
