I run Magic V6.3 under MIT X11R4 on a Sun Sparcstation 2 with a GX graphics board running SunOS 4.1.1. I would like to run magic under Sun's Openwindows, so that I can use the GX board to accelerate redraws. This works fine if I use olwm, Sun's window manager, but I would much rather use twm instead. When I try to run magic under Openwindows with twm, magic doesn't get mouse button presses from the magic windows. Sometimes the first window will get mouse events and subsequent windows won't, and sometimes none of the windows do. If the pointer is in a window, I can always receive keystrokes, however. If anyone else has run into this problem and figured out what to do, I would appreciate some help. --Tim Slagle, slagle@boulder.colorado.edu
