[comp.protocols.iso.x400.gateway] administrative note: RFC 1148bis

ifip-gtwy-request@ics.uci.edu (Jerry Sweet) (06/03/91)

A number of sites were unable to receive Steve Hardcastle-Kille's "RFC
1148bis" message because of its large size. For anyone who failed to
receive it, I've made it available via e-mail archive server on host
ics.uci.edu in directory internet/ifip-gtwy as these split files:

An archive server package has been installed on ics that provides
email access to files in our anonymous ftp/uucp area (~ftp). If
people have no other access to our archives, you can tell them to
send mail to:

	archive-server@ics.uci.edu

Commands to the server may be given in the body. Some of these
commands are:

	help
	send <archive> <file>
	find <archive> <string>

The help command replies with a useful help message. It can handle
text and binary files. If you become aware of any problems with the
server, please notify support.

Mark
