[comp.lsi] Request: Real World SPICE input files

mark@mips.UUCP (Mark G. Johnson) (04/25/87)

Does anybody out there have a favorite SPICE input "deck" that's
_representative_ of a real-world circuit and process technology
(as opposed to the toy examples provided in the appendix of the
Berkeley SPICE 2G.6 users manual)???

I'd like to benchmark several machines, on both Berkeley SPICE 2G.6 and
on HSPICE, using this (these?) input file(s). My fantasy is to find a
problem which takes about 1000 CPU seconds on a VMS Vax 11/780 with the
snazzy DEC VMS Fortran compiler -- that'll give 2- or 3-digit runtimes
for faster machines -- but I will be grateful for _any_ input problem.
If you include proprietary .MODEL information for your latest 50psec
0.2 um technology, please say so ... I'll keep it to myself :-) :-)

Thanks (in advance) very much,
