We are currently considering different equipment options for getting cifplots. Options that come to mind are: black-and-white laser printers, color pen plotters, color electrostatic printers, and color laser printers. The constraints we have are: under $15k, very good service, useful for circuits up to about 1000-2000 transistors, output is readable, and talks to a Unix system running the Berkeley design tools. I would appreciate any suggestions, comments, or recommendations (negative or positive) that readers of this newsgroup can make. Thanks.
