[comp.lsi] DON'T UPDATE YOUR MEG's

frazier@oahu.cs.ucla.edu (11/17/88)

Hello - well, isn't this everybody's worst fear. The "bugfix"
I posted is not an adequate or complete solution to the problem
I am experiencing. While the change should not HURT meg's operation
(it shouldn't change how the simulations behave in any way, shape or
form), they aren't helping, so don't install them. For some reason
they made one instance of my problem go away, but did nothing for
another instance of it. Such random behavior is very perturbing.
I apoligize to all of you for posting the diff's without VERY
thourowgh tests - VLSI design is difficult enough without help
like that. When (if) I get this problem solved, I will post the
solution. Until then, beware!!
