Work ... work ... work !! Given a netlist of circuit modules, does anyone have an algorithm (preferably a good one) for ordering the modules for display? That is, if module 1 feeds module 2 then module 2 should be placed below 1 in any diagram. (Not necessarily directly below but lower on the page or display screen.) Once the vertical ordering is accomplished then ordering the modules in the horizontal direction for each vetical level is the next task. The infinite potentials for feedback, feedforward etc. seem to make this a difficult task. Note: The above 2 module system is of course just a "for instance". I'm dealing with many module systems. (Flame stopper!)
