I am a professor at BU in the area of VLSI circuit design. I currently have a bright student doing circuit design using incompletely-specified logic. I have seen "little" references to "incomplete" logic, as in "a node is not completely specified" e.g. in the case of dynamic node which is simply left with its previous value. THE STUDENT IS UNABLE TO FIND REFERENCES AS TO DESIGN METHODOLOGIES USING INCOMPLETELY-SPECIFIED LOGIC. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME ABOUT ANY ARTICLE SO WE CAN GET ON THE "TRAIL" MAYBE OUR KEYWORDS ARE BAD.... partial-valued, incompletely-specified, unresolved nodes, ?????
