[comp.lsi] VHDL Pretty-printer

Anyone know of a good VHDL pretty-printer, preferably public domain?

Dear DERSTAD - I posted a couple of years ago an electric editing aid you
might try to use as a filter for VHDL. This was a GNUemacs ada.el revised
and upgraded to refer to VHDL keywords and syntax.

The vhdl.el is of course 'emacs.lisp', a proper set of common lisp that
GNUemacs uses for all of its personalities. Gnuemacs may be run as a
batch command (don't recall at this second but I think thats '-b' flag)
and therefore could bringup a file, filter it via a macro passing over
the file, save it back out, and exit.

Best regards,

;; Description: VHDL Mode
;;; The following was created by changing the 'ada.el' Ada-mode
;;; code which was a part of the gnu-emacs 18.50 distribution into
;;; a 'vhdl.el' vhdl-mode to support some level of electric editting
;;; and semi-automatic creation of VHDL code fragments
;;; with the GNU-EMACS text editor.
;;; Further changes will from now on be noted BELOW the original change
;;; notes of the original ada.el version.
