I am working through the Magic 6.3 tutorials and am having some trouble with Tutorial #8, "circuit Extraction". Specifically, whey I try to do the tutorial's example for resistance extraction nothing seems to happen. Following the tutorial, I tried the following commands: :extresis tolerance 10 :extresis According to the tutorial, these commands should find and add two additional nets to model resistance. However, when I tried it magic gave me zero nets. Has anyone encountered this? Any suggestions about what to try next? Thanks! -- John A. A patch is available via anonymous ftp from gatekeeper.dec.com (16.1.0.2). the file ~ftp/pub/DEC/magic/note.13 contains the patch you need. note.14 contains a version of the scmos tech file that supports resistance extraction.
