[comp.arch] Prototype clock/compiler quality `benchmark' soon

eugene@pioneer.arpa (Eugene Miya N.) (06/09/87)

I have had a little chance to work on my prototype clock/compiler
quality verification test. I am using the M4 macro processor on the
assumption that everyone will be receiving this is on a Unix machine. The
test, as I have mentioned will be in FORTRAN, but it can easily be
rewritten in C, Pascal, LISP, or other languages of your choice. (Please
mail any language conversions to me to verify the spirit of these test.)
The target system need not be a Unix system, but if you don't have access
to a system running M4, I need to know NOW.

I should be posting the code to comp.arch shortly. I won't post to
sources because it is a prototype and distributed for research purposes
only, but I need to know if people don't have access to M4.
