Does anyone out there know anything about the guts of the AT&T PC7300 (aka the Convergent S/50)? I can get one of these beasts cheap but it's really only interesting if I can use it to play with OS ideas. I want to port a Unix to it (it runs SysV) but doing that without hardware specs is next to impossible. I'm hoping that one of you is shuddering and remembering the nightmares of this machine - you'd be just who I want to talk to. Here's what I know: 68010, hand built MMU, 10Mhz. WD1010 HD controller, etc. Sorry to bother all of you with this and thanks in advance if you know anything about this machine. --larry OH, yeah, I forgot - the reason I'm interested is 'cause I can get one for around $600 new.
