I don't have the tables here in front of me, but the tables for the pdp-11 and DECsystem-10 versions of Radix-50 were distinctly different (and, of course, incompatible). >Now, don't we all wish namei() was *that* easy? Just as a side note: namei() hasn't changed its name or its information passing mechanism since 1969. Yup, that's right: u.u_base, u.u_count, etc. date from pdp-7 days.
