   For getting my master's thesis I'm working on a report on ACTORS,
a model of concurrent computation in distributed systems.

   I would like to hear from people working on ACTORS and associated 
subjects:

      -what are the most recent devellopements on ACTORS?

      -are there more computersystems constructed or under construction
       like the Apiary?

      -are there recent (1985 and later) publications on the ACTOR model?

   I will submit a summary of the received information.

See the 1987 book, "Actors" by Gul Agha published by MIT press. It's got a
good reference list & covers the basics of actor models.
