[] "How about the MC88000? Would it be a violation of IBM's "patent" to use one 88100 with *two* 88200s? I haven't seen the patent itself. Does anyone know what the patent claims are?" It would be very tricky to use an 88100 with fewer than two 88200s. Anyway, Motorola has quietly signed an agreement with IBM to license the patents relevant to the 88k. -=- Andrew Klossner (decvax!tektronix!tekecs!andrew) [UUCP] (andrew%tekecs.tek.com@relay.cs.net) [ARPA]
