[comp.arch] Request for RS-232 Port Usage

jjg@walden.UUCP (John Grana) (09/11/88)

I have been asked by my boss to gather information on RS-232 async. port
usage on various computer systems. Since the net is a collection of
"various" systems I thought I would start here! If you can spare some
time to fill in the information below, I would be in your debt.

E-mail the info to:

						many thanks in advance,

At Rutgers you rarely find machines with any serial ports. All our
terminal, modem, and serial printer traffic is handled almost
exclusively by terminal servers (cisco mostly). Machine to machine
communication is handled via Ethernet.
