In todays "Australian" computer section, the banner article on the
Intel 486 (without permission):

The i486's performance is measured at 37, 000 dhrystones (an objective
measure of speed and performance) and executes 6.1 double-precision
whetstones a second.
It is this which gives Intel its excuse for making the mainframe
comparison because the i486 can now integrate all of the
performance-critical components of mainframe computers on a single
piece of silicon
...
Wowzers! Mash is wrong! Dhrystones are objective!
(Pretty slow FP on that thing too!)
