Hello! I am taking a graduate class in computer architecture and we are required to write a term paper. The topic is on comparing shared-memory multiprocessors with local-memory multiprocessors. So far, I have loads of ideas for things to do with local- memory multiprocessors, but am stumped on the shared-memory machines. Does anyone out there have ideas for applications that could get a benifit of running on a shared-memory multiprocessor? Thanks in advance, Martin Marshall #include <disclaimer.h>
