Hello. I'm trying to compile as large a list as I can of RISC processors and their corresponding designers. I've been studying the literature (of which there is quite a lot) to glean this information, but I'd like to ask you, out on the net, for suggestions too. I'd also appreciate pointers to survey articles; so far the most recent I've found is "A Survey of RISC Processors and Computers of the Mid-1980s," by C. E. Gimarc in the September 1987 (IEEE) Computer. Is there anything more recent than that out there? Anyone who'd like the list after I'm done with it, please email and I'd be glad to reply with a copy once I've completed it. I most appreciated the helpful responses that I got when I was looking for microprocessor cache information a few months ago, and I am hoping that the net might be able to help me out again.
