What are the common sources for detailed information on SPARC? Also how can these sources be obtained if not in the typically available literature? I am interested in not only getting information on SPARC details but what sources are most referenced. Thank you in advance.

The primary reference for the SPARC architecture is Sun's SPARC architecture reference manual. You can get it from Sun, and we also sell it. ($25) The architecture manual does not describe any of the implementations; only what is required for software compatibility. Documentation on the specific SPARC chips can be obtained from the vendors, particularly Fujitsu and Cypress. They have data sheets, and also reference manuals that are very similar to Sun's architecture manual. There were also some good articles in Sun Technology about 6-12 months ago. (Sun Technology is a free controlled-circulation magazine published by Sun.)
