of the Roman Empire. Today a quiet and picturesque summer resort
located on the coast approximately 30 miles south of Naples.
It is blessed by the mildest of climates and a beautiful natural
setting ..."a land beyond the sea, where the waves and mountains
meet" (H. W. Longfellow).

How to reach Naples
====================

Apart from the Airport there are two main train stations in Naples.
1) Stazione Centrale and 2) Stazione Mergellina, both well served by
taxi.

In the afternoon of October 9th there will be a special bus, supplied
by the workshop organizers, that will take the partecipants to Amalfi
This bus will leave at 5, 30 p.m. from Hotel Vesuvio in Naples.
