I ported the GNU assembler for the Intel 80860 RISC chip,
but since I don't know what kind of relocation info the
Intel linker for the machine uses, the resulting binary
is not too useful.
With hypothetic relocation info and the GNU a.out.gnu.h
(BSD like executable file header info) I also modified
the GNU linker to load the object files that the assembler
generates. (This is of course not useful until such an
operating system exists for the machine :-)
I would like to know if anyone could help me to get the
exact object file format and relocation stuff that
the Intel linker for the machine uses.
Also, I have some questions of the syntax of the assembly
language. (GNU CC generates syntax that does not conform
with the programmers reference manual for the machine.)
I would also appreciate an email address of someone who
knows about this.
Please mail all responses to me.
Thanks for your time,
Juki
