I can't seem to find this in any of the data books or Intel literature: Approximately how many transistors does the 80386 have? If you also happen to have that for the entire 80X86 family, could you give me that as well... I even called the number they listed in the databook, and it's been disconnected... Danke! -- Taed

If memory serves, the numbers are roughly these: 8086/8088 30,000 80186/80188 60,000 (not at all sure about this one) 80286 130,000 80386 275,000 80486 1.18 million
