[comp.arch] Acorn's RISC family

Can anyone tell me what Acorn Computers (UK) intend to do with their RISC
range next? They produced a fast RISC chip known as the ARM3 but apart
from thrid party upgrades for machines using their slower chip they haven't
done much. Other question is does anyone know if they have produced or
are in the process of producing a faster chip as Intel's recent developments
with their 80*86 chips seem to be outpacing Acorn.
