Someone said awhile back that 68040's would be shipping in mass quantities now. Is it happening? And what is the "speed up" strategy for the 68050? With all the talk of RISC speeds going way up in the near future, How will the '050 be competitive as a workstation cpu? Don't mean to start another RISC vs. CISC debate, just curious.
