Hello everyone! I am a grad student in CS. I need some info regarding RAID (redundent array of inexpensive disks), data declustering and disk synchronization. If any one out there have any experience (research, academic or industry) with implementing these concepts in multiple-disk I/O subsystems please kindly forward some info to me. I like to know : phisycal limitations on implementing such systems, practical appl. of such systems, advantages - disadvantages, cost/performance evaluation, current technologies employing these techniques etc. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
