[comp.arch] Free APLOS proceedings

johnl@iecc.cambridge.ma.us (John R. Levine) (04/25/91)

An overenthusiastic computer at ACM headquarters sent me three copies of the
recent ASPLOS proceedings, which contains among other things the MIPS vs.
SPARC paper that has provoked a lot of discussion in comp.arch.

The two extra copies are free to anyone who cares to come by and pick them
up in Harvard Square. Send e-mail to arrange a time.

Hey, me too -- I concluded it was because I was a member of all three
subgroups (or whatever they call them), SIGARCH, SIGPLAN, and SIGOPS. I'd
rather they just sent one, but maybe they figured since I "paid" for all three,
I should receive them.

Same offer: anyone wanting one or both of my extra copies can have them
(first come first served, obviously). However I am located in Ashland, MA.
Send me email if you are interested. (Ashland is next door to Framingham,
and I can rendezvous with someone there or in Natick if necessary, I
suppose, and maybe if I get treated to lunch at Ming Gardens or Pizzera
Uno or something :-)
