I am keenly interested in any information on Canine Parvovirus. It is
hypothesized that it mutated from the virus that causes enteritis in the mink
and the feline panleukoptic virus. It was firerst described (I believe in the
late 70's, and various vaccines have been available since the early 80's.

It is an airborne virus that is spread through feces, and has reached epidemic
proportion among dogs, coyotes, and now the famous WOLVES of Isle Royal.
It is often fatal, and nearly 80% of all immature canines die after infection.
