GRADUATE FELLOWSHIPS AVAILABLE PROGRAM IN PSYCHOBIOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY EMORY UNIVERSITY ATLANTA, GEORGIA The Program in Psychobiology of the Department of Psychology is looking for well-qualified graduate students interested in the biological bases of behavior. We anticipate accepting four students for four years of stipend and full-tuition support. Stipend levels have not been set for 1989-90, but will be equal or greater than the current level of $9,000 for 12 months. Fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis from a typical applicant pool of 45. Top candidates will be invited to visit the Emory Campus at our expense. We are a program of seven faculty who work primarily with infrahumans. Three of our faculty do their research at the Yerkes Regional Primate Research Center of Emory University. We offer research opportunities in the neural bases of motivated behavior, evolution of acquired behavior, linear systems approaches to the study of behavior, primate behavioral endocrinology, primate communication and social behavior, neurotransmitters and reward, and developmental psychophysics.
