[sci.bio] plasma membrane cholesterol and Na+, K+, and Mg2+ ions

miller@ria.ccs.uwo.ca (J G Miller) (08/28/90)

Hi!

Does anybody out in netland know if any papers have been
published indicating a role of plama membrane cholestrol in
transmembrane transport of either Na+, K+, Mg2+, or Ca2+,
or if any of these ions directly interact with cholesterol
in the plasma membrane?

Thanks for your attention,

Greg Miller
