I have been looking at white blood cells under a phase-contrast microscope. Some of them contained a number of tiny particles that were jiggling busily about inside the cytoplasm. I dont think they were larger than 1 micrometer in size. Could the particles be freshly ingested bacteria still struggling to get out? (The WBCs were from an infected skin pore... err... pimple.) -- Attilla Danko BNR, P.O.
