I have a few questions for the TCP/IP jockeys. I would greatly appreciate
any answers.
1. What link level protocols are typically used under IP ?
2. What link level protocols are used in the ARPANET ?
3. What link level protocols are used in the Defense Data Network ?
4. What upper level protocols are used on the above to handle
   any of the following:
                    1. Host to Host batch file transfers
                    2. User terminal to Host file transfers (or the reverse)
                    3. Interactive user terminal to host transfers
                    4. Mail
                    5. Shared database transfers ?
I am also curious to know how two TCP's arbitrate the size of the total
message sent. If segmented can it get large ? If yes then how does it
keep from getting too large for the machine ? Does any of this matter ?
Thanks for your assistance and time.
